Ethiopia, is a nation of surprises, full of diversity and contrast, from the ancient to the modern. Legend has it that Emperor Menelik I, the son of the Queen of Sheba and King Solomon, brought the Ark of the Covenant from Jerusalem to Axum, where he settled and established one of the world's longest known, uninterrupted monarchical dynasties.
Throughout the tour we have assembled a superb mix of features and attractions, including the Blue Nile Falls, the opportunity to visit colourful religious celebrations and upon reaching Jordan we'll be enthralled by the magnificence of Petra, the Red Sea, ancient Crusader Castles and the awe-inspiring drama of Wadi Rum, made famous by Lawrence of Arabia.
